About Us
EnviroWorkshops are in-person events for environmental professionals.
Based in Davidson, NC, we've been growing this annual series of accessible half-day events since 2013, and we have quickly become the largest environmental training organization worldwide, stretching 6 continents.
In 2025, you can find us in more than 25 cities across North America and Europe.
We have had over 100 speakers address topics on Remediation, Vapor Intrusion, Air Quality, Coal Ash, and Energy & Environment.
MEET OUR FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Travis Bowman
Prior to founding EnviroWorkshops, Travis Bowman represented a range of remediation and air emissions technologies, including chemical oxidation, bioremediation, metals stabilization, bioaugmentation, surfactants, trona, and others.
He hosted the first Remediation Workshop in 2013. The events attracted sponsors and grew quickly to span the country. Subsequent years have seen expansion into additional technology markets and regions of the globe. With his team, Travis develops locations, speakers, and exhibitors for workshops hosted by companies around the world.
Travis is married and loves to be with his family. He finds time, too, for a second passion as author, actor, and film producer with special focus on the life of an ancestor of American Revolution renown. You can learn more at www.travisbowman.com.

Elle has been a professional designer since 2011, enjoying an eclectic variety of clients such as celebrity wedding photographers, Fortune 500 companies, a national non-profit serving women healing from domestic violence, mental health practices, churches, authors & more. She loves the variety of projects she's been able to work on, from inception to completion, appreciating the challenge & wonder of creating something out of nothing, and the perfect pairing of creativity and communication that design and digital art offers.
When not designing, Elle ministers to domestic violence & spiritual abuse survivors through coaching and original creative content on social media platforms. Happily married, with seven adult children & step-children, you can find her traveling any chance she gets, reading, writing, & catching up on Netflix & coffee.
Rhiannon Neese
EnviroWorkshops Coordinator
Pursuing a B.S. in Environmental & Forensic Sciences, Rhiannon enjoys being a student at UNC Wilmington and living less than two miles from the beach. Participating in a project that studied the environmental hazards & ecological affects on the world's oceans first ignited a passion for a career in the environmental sciences.
Rhiannon also works in the restaurant & food retail industry on the weekends, spends time with her friends and family, and loves a great workout and afternoon on the beach.
Michelle Bowman
EnviroClass Corporate Membership Account Manager
Michelle is passionate about teaching people how to live healthier lives by getting rid of toxins in their homes through Young Living International, the world’s leader in essential oils, and deeply committed to providing quality education to others about how contaminants of concern (COCs) impact our environment.
She uses her B.S. degree in Communications, and many years of experience in continuing education, event planning and customer service in her main role at EnviroClass, supporting members, so that they have a good experience learning on-demand about the latest technologies in the industry.
What brings her the most fulfillment in life is traveling with her husband and two sons, leading worship at church and mentoring women. Her motto is, "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
Rhenna Hatton
EnviroClass Operations Assistant
Currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill, Rhenna is getting a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Statistics. With experience studying sustainability in the Mediterranean in the south of France, she developed a passion for conservation ecology and green energy. She volunteers with UNC Recycling and Edible Campus; an organization that provides fresh, free-to-take, edible food from gardens around campus. She plans to pursue a global career in sustainable energy after graduation.
In her down time, she enjoys reading with a warm cup of coffee and trying new international cuisines. She misses her cats dearly while she’s away at university.
