Dr. Ian Saratovsky is Director for Environmental Applications with Lhoist North America. He holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and was a Fellow at Oxford University in the U.K. for several years before entering industry to work on environmental remediation and air pollution control. Since then, Ian has over 15 years of experience in air pollution control, wastewater treatment, and industrial process optimization. Much of his work has focused on developing new products for air pollution control, efficiency improvement in fossil fuel-fired and industrial plants, and beneficial reuse of combustion residuals.
