John Fontana is a certified professional geologist, certified well driller, President and CEO of Vista GeoScience. Vista is an industry respected environmental site investigation and remediation technology firm. For nearly 40 years, he has managed thousands of site investigation and remediation projects across the country, while improving the methods and tools used to create successful outcomes. John earned his B.S. in Geology, Oceanography and Physics from Humboldt State University (now Cal-Poly Humboldt) in California. He helped write guidance for the Advanced Site Characterization and Optimized In-Situ Injection teams for ITRC and was also nominated to serve on an EPA Science Advisory Board. John has presented at hundreds of conferences, private training, and public workshops on these topics.
